Had a nice fathers day kicking off with a full English in bed and a winning
scratch card from my daughter. Mail from Squiz suggests action at Lev.
On arrival wind varied between F1 TO F4. Squiz planing on LG bd.
Rigged 8.6 Gaastra savage linked to JP excite pro 146 and had a good sail.
Planing hard on the flat bits, forgot my GPS but mid 20 kts. Too many
yatchs, water crafts made the river very busy and a pain to get a decent
ripping run in.
Maker, Squiz and Mark D were flying mainly. Enjoyed flat water 100% gybing
for a change. Middle of the river was very choppy and my North shoxs was
working flat out, in fact bottoming out a few times as I rammed the board
straight in the chop to test the system. Def works :)
Poxy wind drop after a couple of hrs with me and Maker stranded other side
of the Creek. Squiz was returning from his long distance beat up river
joined us. Wobbled back on a dead run to the marina.
Went back to the spa to detox from the minging river then joined the family
for a fathers day meal out and a couple of nice Stella's. Excellent 2015
fathers day.
